I'm sure Teddy Bear brings you lots of smiles. I didn't know he is as old as Daisy was. Were they together most of that time? I'm glad he is starting to like the extra attention and come out of his shell a little. I know you are still missing Daisy so much too. Take care Jean. |
Thanks Carol. We got Teddy Bear as a puppy in 2004 when Daisy was 6 months old. We thought she would love to have a little brother to play with. So they spent all these years together. We always took both of them everywhere together so I'm sure he is feeling her loss. We spent today at home, John and I were busy so Teddy Bear didn't get much attention but he did fine and he was just happy that we were both home with him. |

Wow, he knew her all of his life. I can see where this is difficult for him. Does he look around the house for her? I had to put my 20 yr. old cat to sleep a few years ago. My friend is a vet and she came to my house to do it. I let Calleigh see Tabitha after she passed. I think it must have helped her to realize that she was gone. It sounds like a morbid thing to do, but I actually think it helped her. They say "time heals all wounds." I know it takes more time for some than others. You are blessed to still have Teddy Bear in your life. I'm sure you know that. xxxx |
I just read about your loss of Daisy, I am so very sorry, my heart aches for you and your family. I lost my Jingle in January and my Holly had a terrible time with it. He was the alpha, her little leader. It was a horrible trying to get myself through it but helping little Holly was gut wrenching as she was pitiful. Teddy is greatly loved I can tell, y'all will help each other through this. I will be praying for your little Teddy and your whole family. RIP Daisy |
