I hope each day gets better for you, it is always hard when you lose a beloved baby but when it is unexpected it is even harder. You know that you have been her friend and protector and feels responsible but you have to let that go and realise she was at home and with your other dogs and she probably went very quickly. She will always be in your heart and you will always have the memories of her and that helps as this is what you carry around every day. |
It's been 8 months I lost my boy Kenzo and oh yes I do understand your feeling. It hurts so much to loose our furbaby and even now I do still miss my boy so much. I do know one thing that my boy is now in the rainbow bridge and so is Dilly. Believe me that it's not your fault. Just remember thay you has given her so much love and she'll be missed and remembered for good. Bless your gorgeous Dilly and your heart. |
Thanks for the kind messages since I last wrote. I looked back on here but I couldn't bring myself to login to reply. I'm struggling at the moment. I've not stopped missing Dilly since I lost her so suddenly but the complete and utter dispare that I felt and immense grief and sadness as come back. I got to the stage where I could think of her fondly, remembering all the lovely times we shared but now I think of her and bust into tears. I just miss her so much. I know it's the fact that it's Christmas the first one without her that is making me feel worse. I'm dreading Christmas Eve - all my pets have stockings and this year she won't be waking up to rip hers open with such enthusiasm as she always did. The thing is I've got so much to be grateful for, I have two baby girls who will be having their first Christmas this year and a six year old boy who is super excited. I also have a wonderful Husband and my two dogs and thee rabbits to share it with but I just can't get over the fact Dilly won't be with us. I just miss her so much x x |
dog Dear Claire, I so understand the pain you are feeling. When my Teddy Peanut passed on, I was heartbroken, cried a lot. I want you to know that is normal to grieve and feel down. You cry and let your feelings out. You lost a love so deep. Dilly was a precious family member and friend. It takes a long time to finally come to peace with this. Do not look back and blame yourself. I believe God has a plan and He has a day for each of us and our pets to return to Him. We have to let go and give our loved ones back to Him. Don't know why things happen but I know Dilly is in a happy place. Cherish the memories and pictures and know all of us are praying for you. |
I know exactly how you feel 1 Attachment(s) Quote:
