My Me-Me died today of histoplasmosis in her blood stream

Thank you everyone. Even though it has been almost three weeks, it feels like yesterday. Me-Me's ashes came home. They are in the curio with Cupie, Sugar and Kendra's ashes. It feels better to have her home. The hospital students and Doctor made us a plaque of her tiny paw prints. They put two little flowers on it, her name in little circles and a yellow ducky. She always had her little yellow ducky with her there. It is comforting that Me-Me had doctors and vet students that fell in love with her. They were so upset when they couldn't save her. I will see her..and her sisters again soon in Heaven. Today is the first day I can finally smile again. Hugs to you all.

What a nice rememberance of Me-Me. I have Gina's paw print with some prints of her hair included. I'm glad you are feeling better with her home now.

I'm really sorry for your me-me. I lost my boy, Kenzo on March 11st, so I can feel how your feeling is now. My boy died becquse of cancer and tumors. It was the saddest day in my life to see my vet put him in sleep. I hope you feel better now knowing that me me is in Heaven now. Amen.

I am glad that you can smile again, and that you have her ashes and a lovely memorial. I know the heartache you have felt all too well, and send hugs back to you.

It has only been 2 weeks since my Meika passed, and the waves of emotions are sometimes overwhelming. I will be glad to get her ashes home in the next week or two and plan a memorial plaque or something in the back yard.
