On Tues we took our precious girl, Poppy, for trachea stent, in Vancouver,Wa, We told her good bye just before surgery, her little heart stopped and could not be revived. We are still in the crying stage, we loved that little girl with all of our heart. We will ask for help in finding a female, healthy, one year old if possible. We are seniors but have no problems takeing responsibility for a loveable yorkie. Thank you all for any help. Dale & Marilou Gocken, Centralia,WA. firstname.lastname@example.org

My little Gracie suffered from a collapsed trachea. Although my vet told me after she passed away that he didn't think she'd live beyond five, she lived to 9.5 years because we knew how too manage her. We always kept her in air conditioning in the summer and carried ice blocks when she would overheat. I often had to submerge her in cool water. It is a horrible disease.
I'm so very sorry that you lost your Poppy. I can tell how much you loved her. I hope you find a baby that can help to heal your heart. You should contact some show breeders. Sometimes they hold pups that they are considering showing, and they don't pan out. You could also contact some breed specific rescues like Yorkie Haven Rescue for a pup.

Good luck in finding a new baby you can open your home and hearts to.

I'm truly sorry for your heartbreaking loss of Poppy. Most of us on YT have been through what you are going through now and it's so painful and hard to learn how to live without those four little paws, two beautiful eyes and button nose. You don't get over the loss of one but just come to accept it and it gets better with time. May God give you peace and comfort during these next weeks and months and I pray you do one day find another dog to love in the same way.

I am so sorry for the loss of your sweet Poppy. You are not alone in the feelings of grief and sadness. It is so difficult to lose our little ones and our hearts feel so broken when they leave us. Hugs and prayerful thoughts to you! I truly hope that you are able to find another little one to show as much love to as little Poppy had. That little girl will be so blessed!
