| I understand and feel your pains. I too, lost my little Lindsey this week and Have not stopped crying since, I lost 5 lbs and just can't get myself together that she's gone. She went blind a yr. ago, I thought that was bad, but to find out she had kidney renal failure 4 months ago almost killed me. She spent 2 days in the hosp. then we brought her home and syringe fed her, gave sub-q liquid under her skin, special kidney food, meds, and gave her all the love we could. She went down to 2.2 lbs, was tired and was starting to feel pains so we let her go peacefully with her older sister Lacey, , 15 yrs old, also blind and with Kidney Renal Failure, all by her side. She knows she was always loved and never forgotten, our love went with her when she passed, and the memories we shared for the past 13 yrs will always be with us. She's running free now with all the other healthy furbabies at Rainbow Bridge, where they will be waiting for us once again. Whats killing me is that we will also have to go thru this a second time as time goes by, with Lacey. May the good memories bring you peace. Lindseys mom Lindsey 11-4-99 ~ 3-12-13 R.I.P. my little cuddle bug until we meet again.

| I am so sorry about your little Lindsey. It sounds like you did everything humanly possible to save her. You can take comfort in that. Thinking of you and believe me, I know exactly how you feel. I will never get over Roxie's death. Personally, I have just had to "cry it out." That is what has worked for me. |

| Annmarie, here is the link to the pet memorials. They are really sweet and free. Pet Memorial Website. Free Online Memorial for your loved Pets. You can have hearts, snowflakes, etc. falling across the page, music and anything on the main page. You can post pics, too. Check out Roxie's page there. Just type in Roxie Stanley and you should find it. I light a candle for her each day, usually late in the afternoon and post a message to her. Crazy, I know, but it helps me to feel better. Hope you like it, too. Let me know and I will light a candle for little Cole Bear. Hope you and your family are doing better now. I have thought alot about ya'll. |

| For little Cole Bear Wasn't sure which thread you would see first, but, of course I don't mind about you lighting a candle for Roxie. I appreciate it so much. I lit one for Colby, too. Please feel free to cut and paste anything from her page that you want for his. I do not mind. Here is a sweet poem to get you started. I hope your kids and the other fur babies and your hubby are feeling better. I know it is so very hard, especially the first month or so. You all have been and continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. I Loved You Best -Jim Willis 2002 So this is where we part, My Friend, and you'll run on, around the bend, gone from sight, but not from mind, new pleasures there you'll surely find. I will go on, I'll find the strength, life measures quality, not its length. ... One long embrace before you leave, share one last look, before I grieve. There are others, that much is true, but they be they, and they aren't you. And I, fair, impartial, or so I thought, will remember well all you've taught. Your place I'll hold, you will be missed, the fur I stroked, the nose I kissed. And as you journey to your final rest, take with you this...I loved you best. |
