|  Missing Cody 2 yrs ago my mom had to go have back surgery. She was to come home to a local nursing home for rehab. Surgery went great, but she got an infection called c-diff and passed away a wk later. I drove the 2 hr trip home from saying good bye to mom. My husband met me at the door and told me something was wrong with my 13 yr old Cody. He couldnt walk. As soon as the vet opened we got him in. After discussing with the dr we decided it was best that Cody be put down. Cant even tell you how bad that day was. Losing my mom and my little boy Cody within a few hrs of each other. Both were my life. Said I would never get another yorkie. But I now have a little girl, Macy. She is a yr old. She will never replace Cody, but she is my sweet little girl. Love her so much! |

|  I am so sorry for your losses but so happy you you got another yorkie....there is just something about a yorkie's love that can't be compared to any other dogs! Welcome to YorkieTalk...I hope you find this site as informational entertaining and comforting as I do.

| How devastating to lose your mom and your beloved yorkie within a few hours. Bless you for going on and getting another baby. We lost our little Keally three years ago and now have an angel from heaven named Kinder. Hugs to you and enjoy your little fur baby and treasure those lovely memories of Cody. Susan |
