My little Maverick passes away 1/19/13 after being diagnosed with PLE on 1/14/13. We followed all the instructions given to us by our very reputable vet, but nothing seemed to help. My family is heartbroken over the loss of our little family member. Maverick helped us to heal after the unexpected loss of my dad in 10/08. Now we are all trying to cope with the sudden loss of him. I'm so sorry you lost your little Maverick, especially so young. We lost our 6 year old Barkley this past August so I understand your heartbreak. I'm glad you were able to be with him. My little man died alone and suddenly and it broke my heart. I hope Remington does okay without his brother. I know it's hard on the surviving pets also.
