| She said that it was like a rare disease called bullest emphysema not sure if thats how its spelled but thats what she said the vet told her basically it caused him to have a thin wall around his lungs the vet also said that it would have killed him at some point in his life it was triggered by a hard cough or sneeze that punctured the lung and he bleed to death internally he said that its similar to an aneurysm for a human in the fact that once it happens death follows almost immediately he said this could have been caused by anything that can make a dog cough as small as even a kibble of food. Debi also told me that her vet said he has never seen this in his 30 years and that is not hereditary and it wont even be seen in testing he said the only way to really find out is by autopsy as there is no other way to know unless they were to cut the dog open and there is still nothing that could be done about it. Thx

| Oh wow, how very sad. So sorry to read about this and equally as sorry for your friends loss. I am sure she is just heartbroken. I am glad however that they were able to determine the cause of death for her. I know it won't ease the pain of his passing but I do hope it will give her a measure of peace knowing what went wrong. RIP Tucker
