Sending prayers your way. I know words can never take away the pain you feel when we rescue them we think we will have many years to show them a wonderful life and sometimes it just isn't meant to be. Time does help even though right now you don't feel it will. You will never stop loving and thinking of him but you will learn to cherish even more the time you had with him. very very sorry for your loss. please remember sometimes we are not supposed to be present and there is a reason for that. please dont blame urself. hugs and may time ease your pain a bit. RIP Benjamin Button.

I just want to say that although his time with you was not a super long time, the wealth of love will last a lifetime to many. THank you for opening your heart to one so small who needed you and for sharing him with others.

Thanks all, it has been a very difficult few days, that little guy ment so much to me! All 3 lbs of his tiny little body was firmly planted in my heart! His ashes are already home, I picked them up yesterday - I thought it'd help bring more closure, but the finality of it just intensified my heartache ;(. I will never forget my special little angel!

I'm so sorry for your loss . He was very handsome and it sounds like he was an amazing pup. Of course you miss your baby boy but don't mourn to much , you don't think benji would want you to feel sad do you? I just rescued a yorkie about a week ago , and your story has inspired me to let her touch as many peoples lives as we can. Again sorry for your loss . No one will ever replace him . Keep him in your thoughts and share his pictures and stories with everyone you can , and he will live on inside you .

I am so very sorry you lost your baby Benjamin. I can't imagine the pain you have. We love our babies so much, they are precious gifts to us.
