| Reading Brett's Tribute to Koda, makes me stop and think of ALL the Blessings in my life that we sometimes forget. Many of us have loved & lost in our lives, so we can feel his pain as he morns his Koda. Brett is right we all have to live today as none of us know what tomorrow can bring, so many of our posts reflect this in prayer requests, ill family members and pets, disaster victims, loss of our pets and many other trials and tribulations. It is so wonderful that we ALL have one another to lean on and support one another here, to find comfort with wonderful comments and compassion to our needs. The Holiday season is now upon us and we all get busy shuffling from party to party, shopping, waiting in traffic, getting annoyed for having to wait on others. When we feel that we have had just about all we can take.... STOP and think of ALL YOUR BLESSINGS !!!! Let that over come your feelings of frustration. I for one would like to Thank you Brett for your words of wisdom~~~ to make me reflect my life again... Cancer survivor of over 15 years, 12 wonderful grandchildren, 6 childern, a loving husband, and my yorkie gang. Wonderful new found friendships here on YT... and much much more. I am truely sorry for your loss with Koda ~~ she is still touching lives through you and her spirit remains. I will continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers in your time of need. God Bless You.

| Brett ~ Your tribute to Koda is probably the most beautiful words ever. It truly has touched my soul. I read it once to myself, then again just to go back and feel it again and to ponder over pictures of Koda. Then again, I read Koda's tribute to my husband outloud so he too can share in all the beauty that your beloved Yorkie Koda girl gave and continues to give you. Your tribute to Koda is so worth sharing and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing her with us here at Yorkie Talk. Koda is truly a beauty that will shine in your life forever. God bless you both. I will never forget your story, and though how tremendously painful this all is to you, I thank you for sharing a part of your life and teaching us some very important lifes lessons.

| I am crying so hard as I read this. What a special little angel Koda is. Just know that Koda is still looking out for you and she loves you very much. I know the pain of losing a pet. I lost my yorkie Lacey to kidney failure on June 3oth. She was 13 1/2 years old. And I had her since she was 6 weeks old. Today is the 5 month anniversary. I still cry nearly every day. I am sure Lacey is keeping Koda company over the Rainbow Bridge. The only thing that keeps me going is knowing that we will see our beloved pets once again. And the memories of them will be kept alive in your heart forever. |
