Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | R.I.P., Rusty We lost Rusty yesterday, the amazing Lab mix who went on an improbable journey and forever changed the lives of two YT families who owned him. He was 14 and died of complications due to a heart condition. He was a Yorkie at heart and so much a part of YT that I wanted to let everyone know of his passing. But, you know me, I can never do anything briefly. Here's a blog I just wrote about the best dog who ever lived. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/blo...7-11-8-11.html

| Oh, no! I am just so sorry to hear this. What a terrible tragedy. I know your heart is heavy indeed and I can only pray for you that over time you heal from this great loss. R.I.P., Rusy boy.

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Thanks, everybody. We're all still adjusting. Eddie and Jillie were able to say goodbye yesterday, but they're still a little confused. At feeding time this morning, Jillie took a while to go to her food. Her ritual has always been to sniff Rusty's bowl first. And I don't know what I'm going to do about the water-bowl situation. She always drinks out of Rusty's elevated bowl, shunning the little one I have right next to her food dish.

| I know we "talked" on facebook, but I wanted to say again how sorry I am to hear about Rusty's passing. Sending hugs to you and your family.

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | I haven't posted in probably more than a year, but I couldn't not come on here after this. YT changed my life, and it obviously changed and saved Rusty's. Mike & Kelly are angels to my family and I. I know he wasn't just a typical senior rescue, and he was so extremely special to your family, Mike. I obviously have an idea of your heartbreak as I'm heartbroken too, but at the same time I really can't imagine how hard this is for you both, and for Jillie and Eddie.
