I hope your dh knows it was not his fault... He could not have known.

my heart aches for you... my 3 yr old Yorkie/Maltese Rusty passed on 9/19/11. I am so heartbroken. He had a sweet little Yorkie face. I am so lost without him.

Please do not blame yourself. Accidents happen. I lost my Sophie Lynn the same way and to this day I see it in my head and it is like it is happening all over again. I know your pain and I feel for your heart but know that your little baby is waiting for you at Rainbow Bridge.
He is playing with my Sophie and running free. Take care of yourself.

Thank you all for your warm wishes. I can't believe it has almost been a month already. I still miss him and think of him everyday.

I can't help but compare everything Lola does/accomplishes with Kiwi when he was that age. My DH and I are always amazed at how different they are.

Lola is slowly healing my heart, I already feel such love for her and am very attached to her. But I do find myself being an overprotective Momma, I can't help it

She will never be able to replace my first furbaby Kiwi, but with her help I have been able to fall into a new routine and keep myself busy with her training and care.

Again thank you all for your support, it has meant so much to me to share this difficult time with friends who can truly understand how I feel and what I am going through. It has been greatly appreciated.
