My condolences on the loss of Bentley. I am sure he is riding the winds up in heaven now. My heart goes out to you. I was touched by your post, how you were by his side til the end. All the best to you Bentley ride on. My deepest sympathy to those he left behind.

Monday will be a week and it is amazing how long it took to just feel like doing anything but I am up now and both my husband and I noticed a big difference in our attitudes this morning. I guess the 1st week is just so raw but now we don't feel like something is hanging over us like we did last week. I appreciate everyone's support, thoughts and prayers. Tomorrow I am dressing up 2 of our little girls and putting them in a stroller and taking them to Bark in the Bay Event. I think it will be good to get out with the dogs and socialize with others who love their pets. Again, thank you, Mary

I am so glad that you both are starting to feel the weight of saddness lift some. It has been 4 weeks for me sense my Bunkey passed and I know exactly where your heart is. I sat down and groomed each and every one of our furbabies and spent time with them,it helped alot. I hope that you enjoy the event with your girls. May each day bring you peace and comfort.

Mary, Good to hear from you, and that a week has gone by. Every week from now on will be easier to handle. Raindrop passed away in Dec. 2010 and I am able to deal with it. I have my other babies with me that helped me to deal with the loss.
The Bark in the Bay sounds like a great idea. It's the best thing you can do right now. Get out and enjoy your babies. Sending hugs and prayers. Darlene
