We had to say goodbye to baby Mia today

We had to let our little Mia go today. She had hydrocephalus, her skull never closed and she suddenly developed severe pain and could not walk. We took her to the vet and to a neurologist and both said that it was time to let her go. She was such a doll and brought so much joy to our lives in the short time she was with us, we had to do what was best for her. This happened in a matter of a week, but she got so that when she would have an attack she would scream a blood curdling scream and you could not touch her because it hurt her. This was not something I could live with, I could not allow her to suffer though any more. The tests were all done and the findings were conclusive, so today I had to say goodbye.

We will miss you little Mia, I hope you knew that we loved you.:(

Bless your heart. I am so sorry you have to go through this. Just has to be one of the hardest things in the world to do, but oh how unselfish. THats love. We never want them to suffer for our own selfishness and you showed today how much you loved her. RIP little sweet baby doll.

Thank you everyone for your support today and always. This has been a very hard week and today has been very difficult. Every where I look there is something, a toy, a blanket, they move into every room of your house and your heart. Sofia is waiting for us to bring her home, she keeps walking around looking for her. It's the saddest thing to watch. I got her to be a friend for Sofia and they bonded so fast, I feel so bad for her.
