| I am so sorry for your loss. Has anyone watched, it is either "I Survived" or "Survived" on one of the Discovery type channels? They occasionally have episodes on people who have died and come back. Usually it is the ball of light, watching resuscitation from the ceiling etc... but an episode the other day caught my imagination. This woman died, she was brain dead for almost 5 minutes. During that time she was on a long staircase, one end going so far down, presumably to her body, the other way up to light. Time stood still there, she felt perfect peace. They interviewed her doctor who corroborated everything she said..anyway, what caught me, was that the entire time she was on this staircase, dogs and cats were playing and going up and down this staircase. Cats were intertwining around her to be petted and dogs would look back at her as they ascended as if to say ''what are you waiting for, come on''. It was the first afterlife experience I had ever heard that mentioned pets. I thought it was fascinating. She did state that none of them were her pets, but I believe that had she gotten up and followed them she would have found hers. I believe these were pets that had just left their homes and were heading to the rainbow bridge, in the light. Perhaps the pets going down were those going to help their brothers and sisters on their journey up the staircase. Where Alexander, Becca and all our babies are waiting for us.

| I am so sorry about Alexander. It is so difficult to see them in that condition your heart just breaks for them. My 17 year old yorkie died in October and she was going through the same thing. It's so difficult to lose your best friend I'm still crying I miss her so much. Prayers and Hugs |

| I know I haven't been posting much, but I have been here reading, and following Alexander's thread. Your prayers, kindness, support and generosity have touched me beyond words. It's in times like this that I realize how much YT and it's members mean to me. Alexander was a special, special little man and I'm glad you've let me share a little bit of him with you. Hugs and blessings, Bonny

I'm so sorry Bonny. I know how much you love your pups. It is evident in every post I've ever read by you (and being such an active part of the community, we all know that's a lot of love!). I'll send prayers of healing for you during this hard time. Hang in there! Last edited by Furbaby Friend; 12-30-2010 at 07:33 PM. | |
