Rest in pease sweet Livi. What a heart felt story and tribute to a miracle baby. Having a special needs baby in your life has its own special place. The grief seems to be coupled with endless questions of what could have been done different. I know this as i lost my adorable Ellie at 8 months old this summer to AAI. My prayer for you is for peace in knowing you were an incredible mommie. You gave all of your hope and efforts to your sprecial loan from God. Livi will be with you daily. You will have tears and that is okay. Eventually you will have glimmers of light break thru the clouds- and then you will begin to know she is whole again- and she is with you. Peace to you and comfort with each day ahead. Livi you were a loved little earth angel.

Thank you so much for all of your heartfelt responses. I am starting to feel a little better and remember the good times.... And there were so many. The bond between us was the most powerful bond that I have ever shared with a furbaby. I have had dogs all my life. When she looked at me it was as if I hung the moon and the stars. I will miss that incredible feeling for the rest of my life. Mornings are the hardest time as we had our little routine. I know I spoiled her terribly but she spoiled me, too. Thanks again everyone and many hugs.

im so sorry for your loss, your story brought me to tears. i am struggling with the loss of my little angel nika august 29th and understand the pain you're going through. mornings were always the hardest for me too because of our :routine" as you said. first waking up without her in bed with me just broke my heart. i too have had dogs (yorkies mainly) my whole life and was never touched so much by any other before my little nika. i can tell vivi was a special little one too and i'm sure she lived so much longer than expected because the love between you was enough to keep her going and you did a wonderful job taking care of her. she was very lucky she had such a great mommy! im sure she knew how much you love her. just remember love never dies. she will live forever in your heart and the beautiful memories will always be there too! sending you a hug and will say some prayers!

Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry for your loss. It sounds like she had a very fulfilled life with lots of ppl that loved her and she loved back. No words will help, bc as you said... only time helps to heal. You will be in my prayers.
