| My heart aches in sadness for you.. I bought a new puppy so my Pooh would have a play mate 8 years ago. I had two older yorkies and felt Pooh needed some one to always be there for him, along came kacee. They so loved each other and then the tragic death of Pooh happened when he was 5. I do not know today how I got over it.. I wanted to die also for months.. what kept me going was our little kacee who looked out the door always looking for pooh to come in.. I too believe that you never replace a lost furbutt. But you get another one to keep your mind occupied with the zoomies and antic's the little one's love to do.. While watching them and they needing you, It helps. It gets better but that empty feeling and love will always be there. Just not front and center. Sending big hugs.. |
