thank you all so very much! having your support really means the world to me, and i know you understand the love we share with these little angels and the pain we experience when they're gone! it was 5 months yesterday nika passed and we miss her so much. i made a 72 page custom photo book on walgreens.com as a memorial of her. it took a few hours adding captions and poems i found online. i cried pretty much the whole time but now that it's done and i have it, it turned out really beautiful. i truely do feel her love all around me always and i will never forget the time i had with my beautiful little baby girl nika! thank you all again for your kindness!

it's been 7 months ago yesterday my precious little angel nika left this world and went on to rainbow bridge. not a day has gone by that i havent thought of her and missed her so much. i will never forget the love we shared. she touched my heart forever and will always have her own special place there to live on.
i know she is now in the care of angels waiting for me with so many other beloved little ones at rainbow bridge. it comforts me to know that she is in such great company there with chiquita, ashley, kiwi, gracie, jolie, keally, muffin, prince, alexander, sydney, gizmo darling, chanel, and soooo many other sweet angels... and i'm sure they are telling stories about us up there as we do on this wonderful forum, sharing laughs and tears and all those memories we shared. i am truly sorry for all of you who have experienced an incredible loss as i have but it has meant the world to me to know that i am not alone and neither is my baby girl. when i picture her at rainbow bridge, i see her surrounded with so many beautiful angeldoggies sleeping and playing on clouds at the feet of angels.
i am so grateful for every day i have with my other 2 yorkie girls zowi and pixie. as i did with my sweet nika, i hug them every day and tell them how much they are loved and how special they are. i am amazed at how much love they give back too and make my life complete by doing so.

Pet Loss poem

I just wanted to let you know that I made it home.The journey wasn't an easy one, but it didn't take too long.

Everything is so pretty here, so white, so fresh and newI wish that you could close your eyes and that you could see it too.

Please try not to be sad for me.Try to understand God is taking care of me...I'm in the shelter of His hands.

Here there is no sadness, no sorrow, and no pain.Here there is no crying and I'll never hurt again.

Here it is so peaceful when all the angels sing.I really have to go for now... I've just got to try my wings.
