| I am so truly sorry for your loss Maybe you could have a little burial for Curly Mac so your son could have some closure? Good luck with a cancer treatment! |

| Thanks again, everyone. No relief today. Animal control finally showed up and told me that the first killing was a freebie but if they kill a second time, either an animal or my child, to let them know and they would record them as dangerous dogs. In the meantime, the dogs are still acting like they want to eat us alive, barking and jumping at the fence all day. Just a clear reminder of what they did to my little Curly.

| Omg I can not believe that. What is wrong with them. I would send them the bill for a new puppy I know that someone in our little town had a dog killed in there yard by someones dog and those people had to pay for the dog. Since your baby was in your yard not theirs I would think they would be resposible. I am so sorry for you and I couldnt sleep last night for thinking about it. Where do you live that the animal control would give them a freebie. HOW HORRIBLE |

| Something similar to that happened to us two years ago. A neighbor's dog jumped over the fence into our yard, and killed our Yorkie, Sissy and badly mauled Bella. The neighbor's home insurance company paid (not that money could replace our furbaby) us to replace Sissy and cover the vet bills. My heart goes out to you, because I know exactly what you are going through. It is hard to lose a furbaby, but even worse to have it happen the way it did. And, we had the same response from Animal Control ~ the first time is a freebie, but this lady gave her lab up and it was put down. Labs have been inbred so much, some have gotten extremely vicious. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

| Condolences to you and your family. I'm sure Curly Mac is in a better place now...a place where she won't feel pain and suffering. Also, Lola and I will pray for your success in fighting the cancer.

| Beautiful Poem for all of us to remember. Quote:
I remember when I lost little Tuffy and what I was going through at the time. My middle son who lives in Arizona called me a few days after she passed and told me to get another Yorkie but I just couldn't do it. He called me the following Saturday to see if I had been out of the house. I told him I just couldn't deal with anything at this time. It was this phone call that made me take some action. Anthony gave me a week to get another Yorkie or he would fly in and buy one and bring it to me. I told him I didn't think I could handle it. He called again on Wednesday and ask if I found one. When I told him no, he just said, I'll be there Saturday. Knowing my son, I knew he would do anything and would be here. That afternoon the Penny Saver came to the house and their was one ad for Yorkie puppies. I called and the girl told me all her appointments were filled. When I explain my problem with my son, I ask her if he could call just to let him know I was making an effort. The women had 5 little yorkie's and I told her to take my number and if any of the puppies were still available on Monday to call. About 20 minutes later her Mother called me back and ask me if what I had told her was true. I told her what I had gone through the last 7 months and then to lose Tuffy. She told me to be their at her Grooming shop at 8 on Saturday because her first appointment was at 9. Punken Pie came into my life that day. She wasn't one of the 5 she was selling, this one was the one they were keeping themselves. I brought a picture of Tuffy and after they saw her the wife turned to her husband and said, she doesn't need one of these puppies, but the one we wanted. She was a carbon copy of Tuffy. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw her, it was unreal. We were all crying.. She even has her attitude and temperament. I don't know why I'm telling you this, but maybe you should think about getting another yorkie. It does help, it doesn't replace the baby you lost but helps. I'll be thinking of you and add you to my prayers. When it comes to the Cancer... Think positive.. Keep fighting and never give up. Kathleen... Mom to My Little Girls: Punken Pie.. Breese Be Be | |

| What Kathleen says is so true! You cant replace the furbaby you lost but getting another fills your heart with enough love that you find you CAN go on and that you CAN move on and remember the good memories instead of what happened on that terrible day! The love the new furbaby will give you and your family will help in so many ways! It was what we needed too! Perhaps not what we thought we were ready for. But our Nicky was a godsend! |
