my friends German Shepard, Sarge, died tragically on saturday. I don't know all the facts but as far as i know they were at the beach and he was asleep by the creek (or some kind of water thing) and he rolled over and fell in. i think they were inside or couldn't get him out, but i know he drowned.

i feel so bad for her and her family. today in school she wasn't really talking much, i think i made her feel a little better, but i know nothing can really help the pain.

Oh Megan I'm so sorry to hear that about your friend's Sarge. If anyone can help her get thru this - it's you. What an awful thing to go through ... It's never easy losing one but to a tragedy makes it so much harder. I'm very sorry.

My neighbor lost both her pugs in what we thought was a drowning accident. Turns out they got into her husbands meds and it killed them both. I am so sorry for your friends loss. But I know he's in doggy heaven playing with Phill and Lilly

Megan Im so sorry your friends beloved dog died,please pass on my sympathies. Monica I would just like to know how your friend is thats pugs died? I remember the thread.To lose one dog is bad enough but 2 well its beyond comprehention.

Brinda is good. Thanks for asking. I was over there 2 weeks ago to show her the picture of my new niece and she has a poster sized picture of the pugs hanging in the family room. They are thinking about getting another dog but are in no hurry. Her husband is ill and her focus is on him.

I remember you telling us about that,, I didn't know it was the meds,, that was so horrible.

So Sorry about the German Shepherd -Sarge,, My dad had a GS that also drown in his pond.. he fell through the ice,and we didnt know till the pond melted..it was a horrible sight, I felt so bad for my dad, it was his long time buddy. They went everywhere together.
