What a tragic story. R.I.P. Aggie. Poor baby didn't deserve that at all.
Those people belong behind bars, if not for their irresponsible behavior
as owner's of a canine then for their crass personalities and uncaring attitude!
I am so sorry for all of you. I just can't imagine going through something
like that.

Those owners need to be punished to the fullest!!!! You and Aggie parents are in my prayers.Just remember there is no such thing as bad dogs just bad owners.

I am so sorry to hear this. It never ceases to amaze me how ignorant/rude/uncaring some fellow pet owners can be. You'd think since they own a dog they'd have a little more compassion.

Thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers for Aggies family and me. Aggies family are going to take these "people" to court. I cant believe the pit bull owners now have a new pit bull puppy.

I think pit bullies are like loaded guns. It all depends upon who handles them. And from what I have seen when I am walking my dogs, a lot of pit bulls are owned by the bully type of people. Not all, but a lot. Best of luck to Aggies parents and I am very sorry.

I am so sorry to have read about such a tragedy. I'm sure it was very hard for you to hear that news. That is so sad. I personally do not believe in lawsuits, but I do believe that lawsuits are the only thing that are going to make these pit bull enthusiasts think twice before owning one.

They all know that the breed is unpredictable. The can be sweet as can be until something sets them off. They are nothing but ticking time bombs.

My heart goes out to you.

My heart goes out to you and Aggie's family.
I can’t imagine the horror they experienced to see this happen right in front of their eyes.
And the uncaring attitude of the owners of the pit is just inexcusable.
I don't understand why an apartment complex would allow such a dog
to be kept on their property.
Maybe this tragedy will change what dogs are allowed to be kept.
Because next time it might be a Child.
I’m glad to hear they are taking them to court .
And I do believe the dog need to be put down before it does hurts / kills
another animal or a human.

If this had been my Yorkie....... that Pit Bull would be dead...... and I would of said to the owners......... don't worry you can buy another one in the paper.

Then I would proceed to kick some ass........

I'm so so sorry......I went from a house to an apartment and never realized how many pitts people keep....every time I walk my girls I'm on watch. I'm very sorry this happened to your little yorkie and may she rest in peace and hope you find peace in your heart.....it really isn't the dogs fault that they attack and I'm a firm believer that pitt owners need to do all they can to prevent this but sadly many do not.

Many have said it is only the owner's fault and I tend to disagree. We had a 12 yr old girl here in Akron a couple years ago that was mauled by their own 5 yr old PB that they had since a pup. I think if I felt good training etc would help, that would be one thing but you can never but never know when that part of it's background will show it's ugly head. This dog that killed Aggie should be pts and the owner should be made pay a big fine.

How long will things like this go on in this country? The breeders wil argue that they are not the only breed. Well then stop breeding those also.

I'm sorry but this one subject that I will not apoligize to anyone for the way I feel.
