| I am so very sorry for your great loss. I too lost my two dogs in a fire in 1998. Smoke inhalation...it was a horrible time for me as I was so devastated and blamed the fire on myself as I left rags in a linseed oil filled plastic container and they ignited when I wasn't home. It took one year later, and I got a yorkie and named him Spike. Unfortunately, Spike just passed away two months ago but gave me 10 years of absoulte love and joy.
