| That was beautiful! It really explains how attached we become to our furbabies and only someone that understands that kind of love would understand your poem. You will always miss him but think how awful it would have been to never know him.

| I am very sorry for your loss. You are so right, some people just don't understand the love we have for our little babies. I truly hope you heart will heal, and you will be able to remember Jackson with a smile and not tears. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Bless you and your new baby.

| I'm so sorry your heart has been shattered. Your poem shows the special bond you and Jackson had between you. He was a very lucky little guy to have had you rescue him and give him 7 years of so much love. Treasure your memories of him and in time your tears of sadness will turn to happy tears. Let Smokey help you heal. There's plenty of room on your heart for both little one's to have their own special places. Sleep peacefully with the angels, Jackson. In time, you'll see your Mommy again. God Bless.

| I am so sorry. I lost my beloved yorkie Auggie Doggie Feb. 2007 and I know exactly what you are going through. Your poem was beautiful and I can tell it came from your heart. My husband also wrote a poem about Auggie and to this day everytime I read it I sob. We posted it in this forum also. My deepest sympathy to you at this time. |

| I am so very sorry you lost your little Jackson. Your poem brought tears to my eyes. It was not silly or rambling at all, it was very touching. I lost my little yorkie Jag of 9 years this past Monday night. Jag's death was sudden and totally unexpected as I thought he was in perfect health. My heart is breaking as I write this. Your poem was all the things I'm feeling now. I also tried to express my grief through a poem, although it was not quite as good as yours I felt a little better after writing it, as if it was a tribute to my baby. I've replayed the day he died over and over in my mind... wondering if I played with him enough or if I made him feel loved. Its a horrible feeling. Just wanted you to know that you are in my thoughts and I'm sending up a prayer for you now. Lots of luck with your new yorkie. They are amazing little ones and in time will bring sooo much love to you. They require a little patience as they all do, but give so much back to you, its incredible. |
