The vet thought it was from a trauma but she said as far as she knew he hadn't been injured. He hadn't fallen or gotten hit or been around any other dogs.

They tried giving him oxygen but he died in her arms.

Please Lord put your arms around her and comfort her as she suffers this pain.

I'm sorry little Goober, i hope you know how much you were loved. You will be missed.

May the Lord wrap her in his comfort. i am so sorry to hear about this. My prayers are with you and your DH's cousin.

I'm so sorry for all involved......None of us ever thinks we will be posting in this section, it's shocking when this happens....I feel all of you going through this awful heartache.

I am so sorrowful and wishing you peace and comfort. As I said in another thread -- I believe we will see all of our departed furbabies someday!

Thank you all for your comforting words. I am doing fine. I still cry when I think about the hole that his passing has left in her life. she is the type of woman that needs something to take care of. She cared for her grandkids and is now caring for great grandkids. That is what she does.
