| NIcholette - I know it's tough but always remember that all dogs go to heaven! On June 12 I made the decision to put by precious Roscoe down. He had the very same thing. He was 8 years old. Over the past months he was starting to drop weight and was so exhausted all the time. We kept taking him to the Vet but they would just tell me to put him on a bland diet. I finally changed vets and he drew blood. Roscoe's creatine levels were off the charts. This all happened at the end stages of his renal failure. I kick myself more that I could have possibly made him suffer for too long. I have to tell you, being right there, looking at him in the eyes as he drifted off to the rainbow, he knew who loved him so much. I am crying just typing this. I am so touched that he chose me as his pet, to live with, to love and to care about. My heart is still broken but it gets better every day. My husband got a stone for him at it simply had his name and "Love you more than bugs." (that's an infinite amount). I send you prayers and thoughts as I know how bad you are hurting through all of this. I know since it hurts this bad that the love I gave and received from him was greater than anything I have known.

| I'm so sorry. I know all to well how you are feeling. I lost my 14 year old Maltese yesterday. The pain is unbearable. I can't stop crying. At least we can take solice in the fact that they are not suffering anymore. Hugs, Nancy- |

| I am so sorry for your loss! It is a pain that cant even begin to be described and words cant help. We had to do that with my childhood cat of over 20 years for the exact same reason. And recently my little yorkie passed on. But if there is anything at all that I can do please dont hesitate to let me know. Sometimes just the support of others can help mend those wounds. I know this site has helped me to mend mine.
