I'm so sorry for you loss. Your story tore my heart apart. I lost my first Maine Coone-Muffin Edward-the same way. By the time we found out, it was too late to save him. My second Maine Coone-Snuffy Awful Gus-developed it but we caught it in time to give him a few more years with insulin. Millie was a beautiful little girl and she gave you the sign that she loved you for all you did and was ready to go. Sleep peacefully, Little One.

Oh so very very sad.. hugs to you... I have been there losing a 5 year old and when so young this makes this journey even harder to deal with..
You did the best you could and I am sure she is with my guys have fun and not sick anymore...anne

I'm so sorry for your loss, it is so hard to let go sometimes but you did the right thing. She will be at rainbow bridge waiting for you.

I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you. I too know what it is like to lose your much loved baby. I went through something similar last February, and I still miss my Auggie Doggie and think of him every day.

You have my deepest sympathy. Most of us reading this probably have tears falling as I do. They are certainly not JUST dogs. Cherish her memory until you meet her at rainbow bridge. God Bless, Sue

I'm so sorry you lost Millie. You loved her so and you took such wonderful care of her and that was all that she asked. I'm certain you'll meet again at Rainbow Bridge and you'll find Millie in perfect health and ready to play!
