Know that all of us grieve with you and hope your pain lightens...Mia is free of any pain and is probably frolicking through the meadows in heaven with all the other furbabies....

Dear all,

Please excuse my absence from this forum, but I had to distance myself for a short time while I grieved. Mia was my only dog and therefore my one and only. I know we all have to deal with the pain in different ways and mine was not to go out and get another dog as soon as possible. I don't think I could have given a new dog the love and attention it would have deserved.

I appreciate all the kind words, not only about Mia's passing but during the short time I had her in my life. This forum was always there to share advice and give information to a new Yorkie mother. You guys are fabulous, caring, and generous.

In Mia's memory I created a short slideshow to send out to family and friends. I would like to share it with you guys as well.
Mia, my little nugget in heaven.

Misty, your tribute to your precious Mia made me cry. It's beautiful. Even tho she had a short life, it's obvious that it was a wonderful one. I wish there were some way to ease your pain, but only time can do that. Just remember that you gave your little girl the best and happiest life that she could have had. Spread your little wings, Mia, and fly with the gentle breezes on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge. Hugs, Misty.

Misty, what a beautiful tribute to Mia! Your love for her and her's for you is so evident in all those wonderful pictures! I just love her cute little nose....what a little doll! Your music was perfect....ABBA song right? I am soo very sorry for your loss. I know Mia will never be replaced, but hopefully in time, you will be able to get a new little baby to love. You look like you are so good at loving these special little sweeties! I think my favorite pics of Mia are the one in the car waiting for her ride

, and the one under the Christmas tree!! You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
