| How could someone?? I cannot believe this has happened. Literally 3 hours ago someone shot my sisters 7mo yorkie, Lucy, in the neck! How could someone be so sick!!! My sister was driving her to the emergency room, but she passed on the way there. The kids(dogs, 5 in all) had been the house all day, since she was working, She had let them into the backyard to play, while she cleaned herself up. She said she was probabley 10mins max, she went to bring them all in and Lucy lying on the porch. She is devasted. What horrible is that she was just bringing them in take them to my mom's for the week, as she was going on a trip. They called the Police, and all they said is that too bad, they can't do anything. so much for it to be a felony to kill animals(pets) in the state of Colorado!!! I have been crying my eyes out ever since. My sophie and lucy were sisters, from my moms yorkie. I almost took Lucy as well as sophie, but lucy loved my sister much more then my house. She was the sweetest little thing, a great cuddle buddy. I just don't know how someone could do something so awful. Sorry for the rant...I just can't stop crying I really need to get this out. | I am so sorry. This is terrible. We recently visited Daisy's breeder and he told us that the neighbors shot Daisy's daddy and he died. What is wrong with people?

| OMG... I can't imagine... who on earth would do such a thing? And the police do nothing about it??? I'm so sorry for your sister's loss (and yours)... she must be devastated. If it were me... I think I would do some snooping around to find out who the culprit was.

| What in the world is going on, that people can just do this, and think it is ok!! This blows my mind. I am so sorry to hear this.

| I am so sorry for your little one! RIP little Lucy. I hope the person who did this gets what they desevere. People who hurt animals are horrible!!!! I would put up flyers of what happened and maybe someone will turn in the person who did this. I don't know if anything can be done to them but at least your neighbors would know about this person and maybe his life would be a living HELL with everyone knowing what he did!

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I'm so sorry this happened, I hope you raise a stink about it. I don't understand why the police can't do anything. Call the newspaper, local news, and whoever you can think of. If this is the case, people need to be aware that someone is out there shooting dogs, and the police won't do anything.

| I just don't understand what is happening to people today??? Are they all going nuts or something? What the f!! You can't even let your own dogs out in the yard for a few minutes and something like this can happen!! I'm so sorry for you and your sister!! I would definitely go to the media about your story and how the police could care less!! Hugs to you both...

| i cant believe that! sometimes i think people have no heart! although it wasent my Yorkie (thank god) my cat was kicked in the face by some kid, which blinded her, broke her jaw and resulted in her getting put down. i would cause such a scene people would be scared! i would call the police everyday. Because even if they want to be heartless, and not have sympathy that your sister just lost her baby and her personal pet, that is destruction of property at the very least! dont let it go! |

| I am so sorry! Personally, I would write a letter to the editor of the local paper. You would be surprised by the amount of support you can get that way. People in your area may be outraged enough to make a change in the law or to actually enforce the ones on the books. That is so sad.

YT 500 Club Member | OMG!!!!!!!!! what part of colorado are you in? Please let me know if you need anything! THis is awful. And there are things you can do. Like report it to our local news, once they get the story out I bet the police will be all over it. That is horrible. I cannot believe this. IF someone ever comes near Armani to shoot him, I think I would prob take the bullet myself. Everyone thinks I am nuts, But ARMANi is my life, he is like my baby, I cannot imagine anything like this happening. I am so sorry for your loss. Please let me know if I can do anything.

| OMG, I am sooo sorry, I can't even image. And since I saw you lived in Colorado I looked what area you are in and you are in the same zip code as me! Now I'm totally freaked out! This is supposed to be one of the safer areas in Colorado. Please, if there is anything at all I can help with or do for you, please let me know. My heart goes out to you.
