I am so sorry for your loss and having to witness such a horrible scene. I can't believe someone would train an animal to kill another animal. This dog has the potential to attack and/or kill a small child. I hope and pray this doesn't happen.

It just breaks my heart to know that your family is being so asinine about the GS dog

How the heck did he get that big anyway, do they normally get to be 200 lbs?!?!?

I know a guy with a Bull Mastiff that's over 200 lbs, but he had fed it steroids as a puppy to make it get bigger

Anyway, I'm praying for you and your family and hope that they come to their senses and put that dog down before it ends up killing a child. An electric fence won;t stop him if he wants something bad enough, either

I'm so sorry .........I feel your pain as well and my heart is hurting for you , I cannot imagine your pain and hate to be around the dog that killed your scooter but please don't do anything crazy , that dog is just a victim himself by being trained to kill (small animals), he is just doing what he thinks is right......... humans training their dogs to do this should take the responsibility and blame of their dogs actions.

It is about ignorance...and senselessness. I am utterly ashamed of the adults in this situation and how they are reacting.....it is so beyond words to describe how shocked I am that they are not handling this situation appropriately.

After just reading your last post and realizing your brother is only 15 it's your
father that should be ashamed of himself for condoning what he has allowed
his son to do. Raise a killer and be proud of it. What is this teaching your
brother? Certainly not respect for a living creature. I feel so sorry for you.
It it were me I would stay away from them both! If they don't respect you
and your family and realize the fear you feel and the heartache you feel for
the lose of something you loved,
what kind of people are they. I blame your father. I'm sorry but it's the
truth. Your brother is 15 and look what you father has already allowed him
to become. Very sad. I am very, once again, sorry for your loss.

My brother has trained this dog to kill small animals such as wild cats, raccoons, opossums, squirrels, etc. This dog should have NEVER been allowed to be violent enough to kill an innocent creature to begin with. He now has the potential to kill ANYTHING according to several vets. He has tasted blood and that is enough to make him blood thirsty. I am now VERY concerned about my 2 year old daughter's safety. I want to go shoot him myself but my father tells me if I do that I will go to jail and all of my dogs are going to be taken away from me. This whole situation is absolutely ridiculous and was completely preventable. Dogs are made to be companions, not killing machines. I will stop ranting now. I am going to go cry again.

People like that should not own dogs or even know what a dog is!!!

Can't you turn them in to the anti-cruelty society? or make a police report and have them investigate them?

I just can't believe your unfortunate situation.
I wish you can move away from your parents home, away from your brother and killer dog but it seems it isn't an option right now.
Please be safe for your daughter.
I am sorry but I am soooo angry over your parents.
I would report to animal control for you if you can't.
I do fear for your daughter's safety.
My concern is your daughter and other small dogs in your area.
I wish there is a solution for you.
Please have some peace in your heart you and know you are not alone.
