| ![]() A DOG FOR JESUS I wish someone had given Jesus a dog As loyal and loving as mine To sleep by His manger and gaze in His eyes And adore Him for being divine. As our Lord grew to manhood His faithful dog Would have followed Him all through the day While He preached to the crowds and made the sick well And knelt in the garden to pray. It is sad to remember that Christ went away To face death alone and apart With no tender dog following close behind To comfort its Master's Heart. And when Jesus rose on that Easter morn How happy He would have been As His dog kissed His hands and barked its delight For The One who died for all men. Well, the Lord has a dog now, I just sent Him mine The old pal so dear to me And I smile through my tears on this first day alone Knowing they're in eternity. Day after day, the whole day through Wherever my road inclined Four feet said, "I am coming with you!" And trotted along behind. | ![]() I hate when I do this. I always go to this thread by accident and end up reading about everyone's losses and crying...but the thing is that I'm sitting the library of my university sobbing! ![]() My boyfriend's grandma past away recently and she had a close to death experience hours before she finally joined God, and she said that her husband held her hand and told her not to be scared in the coming hours because God was reuniting them. She came back to earth to tell us this, so she could help my boyfriend's family and I find God and push all questions of his existance and love out of our heads and hearts, then she joined God with a smile on her face in a peaceful death while napping. I believe that our babies pass into heaven as we do, because it would be Hell for both us and them if we all couldn't be reunited. A life without Beau is going to be near impossible, but an eternal existance without Beau would surely be Hell.

| ![]() i cant say i beilive in the bible but i respect other who do. i do how ever belive in the spirit world, a few weeks after my first yorkie was killed by a car he came back to see me. i was laying in bed with my back to my bedroom door and i felt like something had jumped over me, it felt like you fill when you drive over a bridge. i then felt heavy breathing in my face and i knew in my heart it was ben, i didnt open my eyes as i was only 13 and scared at what he may look like but i knew it was him. i have also seen my cat a few weeks after he died, he was laying in the same spot he died in and the funny thing was i said hello to him and stepped over him then suddenly remembered and spun around but he had gone. ive always been psychic and have seen quite a few strange things over the years and my sister is a psychic medium and says she has pets come through for people a lot. she also went to see another psychic medium and the lady said that are mum was with her and she had 3 yorkies with her, that was my ben, scampi and sasha. trust in what you belive, you will see your loved ones again and you will know who they are including your pets. |

| ![]() I just had this conversation with a lady I work with. Her husband is a Pastor. It came up in conversation and she said that animals don't go to heaven...I said "WHAT?" She said something about they don't have souls and blah blah blah. I kind of shut down after she said that, and didn't really pay attention to her explanation. I love this lady, and she is a dog lover. I couldn't believe it. I know she knows more theology than I do, so I just responded........ "Well, my dogs will be there!" In the end, I guess none of us has the answer because we haven't been there and come back to report the findings!!! I believe animals do go to heaven.

| ![]() I also believe that our dogs go to heaven, and I surely live by the hope that one day I will join a few family members. Loved one's I lost at a young age in life. I think that is what always keeps me going. My favorite song, " How far is heaven" an oldie, but I remember that song from a young child. We need to keep our hope and faith in this. pooh's mum |

| ![]() I actually talked to my Pastor about this, I still feel grief over a pup I lost not to long ago. Here's a couple thoughts, How can Heaven be the most beautiful calming place if there are no animals, especially Yorkies. Why would God saved all the animals on the Ark if he didn't want them in heaven. Dogs don't need a soul becouse they were not part of original sin. So, deep in my heart I really do beleive we will see them all again, healthy happy and barking! |

| ![]() I told my parents (who are still living) that when I die and where ever I go the first person/pet I want to see is Toby (who is still living 16 yo!). Well my parents faces dropped. Then my dad said well I lived with your mother for almost 50 years and Toby has only been around for 14 (my family got him when he was 2). I can see that. I want to see Toby first too he said. Of course my mom was not at all impressed and said to hell with all of you, and guess what, I'm taking Toby with me, so to see him you'll have to see me! But unfortunately they were all joking and I don't have to heart to tell them that I was serious and I want and will see him first! Oh about the topic. If dogs don't goto heaven then I don't want to go there. I want to go where my pets are. Last edited by dcapper; 01-10-2008 at 11:06 PM. |

| ![]() I really do think that they do go to heaven. Some say that they don't have souls and that may be. But I do think they have spirits. I have faith that there little spirits will be with us in heaven when we get there. Has anyone read the book called "Heaven" by Randy Alcorn? It is absolutely increadable if you want to know more. ![]() |
