SHOUTOUT utah yorkie moms ( and dads) post an update Havent been on for a while but am slowing down now. Tell us how Your furbabies are doing and any crucial updates, PIX PLEASE;-) Ritz is still a little guy and I am trying to get him bigger lol... He needs some baby teeth removed and they are loose but he is 16 months now and they are not budging. I am thinking of the string door idea LOL J/K Shellie is mellowing out and is taking forever to get her coat. I clipped ritz downt his summer to help his coat a little and did not clip shellie but her coat is still shorter than his, HSe has passed him up and finally quit growing taller so I am hoping for a little weight on her too. I ahve my pic of shellie on my other puter but here are some of ritzy and then 1 of him and shellie although shellie looks like a wild woman cheing on her bully stick LOL...

I live in Utah. I'm looking at purchasing a yorkie. I have three poodles a standard, a toy and a teacup. I love them a lot. I'm trying to learn more about yorkies to see if they will fit into my lifestyle and with my other fur babies. I love the way they look but if I decide the breed is right for me I don't want to get a yorkie from a non-reputable breeder. I've read about yorkies and I'm concerned about two issues: one thing I've read is that they are really stubborn is this true? and the other is that they are very difficult to house break? What are your feelings about these two issues. Who are reputable breeders in Utah? I've been looking in the paper but I'm just not sure. What is a reasonable price to pay for a yorkie? Thank you for your help. Grandma J

Welll...... Ive been a groomer for 15 y ars now & have seen Yorkies live in familys with Shih-Tzus ,One yorkie lived in a family with a bichon and great perinese ,one lived with a maltese ,one with a schnauzer one york lived with alot of others yorkies Ive even seen yorkies live with kids and alot of people say they do not like kids Mine personally dont, but i think its what they are raised around ! It also seems to me that once someone gets a yorkie that yorkie list keeps growing I think they are a great breed they are such sweet babies and become a member of your family They each have their own personallity as far as stubborn my Seymour is extreamly stubborn But my moms Abby is not I think you should get one !I love them I could not be without them ! They are still my FAVORITE breed and my favorite breed to groom !!!! If that says anything ! As far as breeders I havent known any in Utah ,Im still looking for one to adopt in our home and cant find one ive been on Pet Finder Pet harbor Yorkie Rescues and have found some but none near here : ( Im staying positive !
