| Did all you kansans survive the storm? Just checking to see if all you Kansans survived the bad weather we've had this week. Here in Manhattan, we had softball sized hail that totaled hundreds of cars. (Thankfully, we survived with only a few dents) Tonight, 3 tornados touched down within 2-4 miles of town. We lucked out with only 4 inches or so of rain. Aside from ALOT of flooding, I think we are in the clear for the rest of the night.

| how about tonight? I need to bump this back up and make sure everyone is alright after the tornados tonight! Manhattan did get hit. It's been reported that it touched down at least 3 times throughout town. One of the touch downs was about 3 blocks south of my house! We did not sustain any damage that I've noticed so far but the wind was pretty strong so I'm sure we have some tree branches down though.

| I'm glad to hear you were out of it's path. Manhattan has sure been getting hit hard this year. We had a terrible ice storm in December, a terrible hail storm last monday, and now an EF4 tornado. What else can happen?

| I hope the people that really got it are okay. When shawnee had the most recent tornadoe warning we were at the salon getting our hair done and had to go to the basement in there. Sasha gets really freaked when a storm hits and I feel so bad for her this summer since we have been getting all these storms.
