| Question - breed standards My daughter and I were talking about her Maggie. Can someone tell me what a Silky Terrier looks like?? Do they have the same coloring as Yorkies? Our Maggie is rather large compared to the descriptions I am reading here and also to other Yorkies I have seen. Maggie weighs about 15 pounds and I am wondering if DD got duped. Is it possible that a Silky Terrier could be passed off as a Yorkie?? |

| Silkies do have the same coloring as Yorkies, however, they are longer in the body, they have a longer face and they are larger. Yorkies come in all different sizes depending on their genes...Yorkies on YT range from the very small to 15 or 20 pounds but they're all Yorkies. |
