Well, I think so. I have had some bad vet experiences with some of my animals so when we met Dr. Eric and found him to be so great with the animals, we just stayed with him. I don't think he's outrageous or anything. I wouldn't be able to afford him. I have two kids in college, a grand baby on the way, one 23 yo old son living at home, we have a business, etc. so we don't have a lot of money.

I'm not sure what to do about the gift exchange.

I guess, what we can do is, if you want to attend the gift exchange, then just bring a gift that would be suitable for either boy/girl

My husband made camping reservations yesterday for us for Labor Day weekend in Brown County so I won't be able to attend the get together. I hope you guys have fun! My MIL said that she might stop by the park to admire the Yorkies. Her parents live very close to the park.

If you all want, we can plan a Fall meet up in October. The hotel where I'm booked "The Sheraton" they are pet friendly, and we could see how much it would cost to rent a meeting room. This way we would not have to worry about the weather.
If we did it around Halloween, we could have a costume contest for the babies.

Let me know if this sounds like something you all would be interested in. I have no idea how much a meeting room would cost.

I could certainly make it in October!

I can't change the Sep 1st date, I have the shelter already reserved and there are no refunds.

My hotel is booked also. So regardless of who shows up, I'm coming to Indy on Aug 31st lol

I really hope we have a nice turn out, but I have had 2 cancel on me so far and 1 has not said yes or no for sure.

Well, I'll be there with my Mom and my 10 yr old neice. With my pasta salad in hand. I can do a morning shift of the garage sale. That's when the hardcore shoppers are out anyway!! I'm excited! Can't wait... did you get my check?

I'm very excited! Even if it's just a few of us, I know we will have fun!

7 families and then me and my crew!

Some plans has changed though. I'm not going to be staying over night. I have decided to get a new baby boy!!! There is a thread about it under general yorkie section.

So I won't be able to afford to stay.
