Anyone else here from Ohio? Hello! I signed up for this site a long time ago, but it's been awhile since I was here. So, I thought I'd reconnect myself with the forum and see if there are any other Ohio yorkie owners here, as I'm sure there are. ;) Anyway, I am a proud mom to two adorable yorkies, Kayla, who is 2 and a half years old and Cory, who is 6 months old. |

can I jump in here.... althought I live in Texas, I moved here from ohio. we have 4 yorkies named .. Buckeye, Ahia, Archie, & Tressie. Doesn't that make us from Ohio? Welcome back by the way! |

columbus, ohio here i grew up in canton but moved here to go to osu. met my husband 10 years ago this october and we've made columbus our home. we have 1 yorkie (2 years old) named miko and a cat (10 years old) named pyra. :wavey: |
Toledo Im Michigan....but just 13 miles from Toledo, Ohio. Im in Ohio or within a Mile or 2 of Ohio probably 2 days a week. Anyone near Toledo? |

My boyfriend's family lives in Toledo, so we drive there (and to Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti, where he has friends- is that the area you are in Diggy?) every few weeks! I live in Cleveland part time, but since I work in Akron and gas prices are too much, I also live just out of Akron with my family in the town where I grew up. Technically I am homeless right now, yet I have two homes :p I have one four month old yorkie, Paddington Bear :cool: We had a cat named Jonesy, but he has diabetes and special needs, so he went to stay with Daryl's mother in Toledo since she could look after him better. I miss him though :( -O |
I am from Sandusky Ohio. I was born here and married a guy from here and we have 4 boy's (2 were born in Sandusky and 2 were born in Cleveland because they were 3 months early.) We lived in Huron Ohio for 8 years but bought a house 10 months ago so we are back in Sandusky! Both sides of the family live in Sandusky and one sister is in Toledo Ohio. I do not think that we would ever move out of state. Visiting other places is fine but I have I do not have my Jeter yet but I am working with a breeder to get a show/breed quality boy! I will most likely get to bring him home in November/December! I am so excited to be getting him but the wait has been LONG! |

Yay! Lots of people from Ohio, or people who used to live in Ohio. ;) A few of you aren't too far away from me either. Dover is about a 45 minute drive from me. :) It'd be cool if we could arrange a meetup somewhere near here and bring our furbabies. :D Heck, I'd even be willing to have it here at my place, or even here at Salt Fork would be awesome, or New Philly's park. So, if you hadn't guessed, I live in Kimbolton. It's between Cambridge and a smaller town called Newcomerstown. I'm sure those of you from around Dover know where that's at. So, it's definitely nice meeting all of you and if any of you are interested in a meetup, let me know. I'll host! :D |

I am in Ohio too, a little below Akron just above Canton. We really should have a meetup with there being quite a few people close to the area!! I have been to New philly's park before, it is a nice park!! |
Does the New Phila park allow pets??? I don't remember as it has been awhile since we have been to Tuscora Park. I am sure a meetup is possible!! We should try to do something before summer is out!! |

And thanks for letting me know that they allow pets at the park, rrosenberry. :) Now the only problem seems to be that you have to rent the picnic shelters??? I don't know if we can get past that or not. I never knew you had to rent them in the first place. Can't we just go and scout one out. :P I guess, I'll look more into it. I'm sure they wouldn't have a problem with a group of people getting together to have a cookout without having to rent the shelter. I'm sure that's just to insure you have one on the day you want your get together or something. |
North Canton here! We're from North Canton. We just moved back to Ohio in October so we don't know many people in this area. We were in SC for almost 2 years. We'd love to come to a meetup. Massillon has a dog park. I haven't been there yet, but it might be an option if anyone is interested. |
