I'm sooooooooo sad to say I got a migrane Friday and went home from work... Got up on Sat. and it was terrible, I felt as if my head was going to explode, It hurt to look at light, and I felt like I was going to puke...Needless to say, I couldnt make the drive. I was so sad I cried like a baby.... (which didnt help my migrane. ) Me and & daughter was looking forward to it so much. I wanted to meet everyone and there babies. I was out the cost of my room too, uggg

Hopefully they will do another one next year and I can go. Glad everyone had fun. Can't wait to see everyones pics...

We had a great time at the Fair! Wrigley did so much better than I expected!
She's very nervous around people and other dogs, but she took it all in stride and Crosley loves everyone!
We bought the cute strawberry nightgown from Des, which I know several people bought and posted pictures of!
The cutest reversible dress from Jodie and couple of dresses from Missy!
Everyone was really nice and it was wonderful seeing so many Yorkies!
It's so interesting because they come in every shape, size, color and they are all styled in different ways, I loved it!

We weren't staying at the Best Western, but we stopped in about the after party and the hotel employees said there wasn't anything going on, so we didn't come back that night. Bummer, because now I see there was a party!
We will certainly attend next year! The four hour drive wasn't bad at all and Crosley LOVES her Snoozer lookout carseat, she won't even let Wrigley in it and there is plenty of room for her!

After a long, dramatic, search, I came home with my new baby. I still cannot believe it!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks to all the Michigan YTers who have helped me along the way. Just when I thought I would overdose on my search bcuz nothing was working out, I found the one for us.

She is just beautiful. Personality plus like you wouldn't believe.
We have named her Nina.

She has had no nerves or fear. She just bops around like she owns the place. We went to the vet today and she wanted to look out the window the entire way. And here I was worried about her getting car sick.She checked out A+ healthy. My vet and staff were so excited and happy for us.
(Some of you may remember that we lost our beloved 11-year-old Molly Muffins in January to liver cancer.)

My husband Stewart, was certainly surprised when we walked in with her.
He said "OMG-I was just missing Molly so much today and now look-we have a dog!" He had no idea I would come home with one. Neither did I for that matter! He has bonded so intensely with her. I am happy about that cuz he was the one for 5 months who woud vaccilate over whether or not we were ready for another. He loves her sooooo much. He called from work today a bunch of times to check on her. He called the vet office while we were there to see how that was going. He is snuggling with her right now.

I stopped by his office on the way home from the vet and he came down and showed her off to a few people at work. The rest were all looking out the windows. When he handed her back to me in the car, someone called his cell phone and told him to put Nina back on the grass again so they could watch her some more, so we did. LOL.

I am tired...you all know how the first few weeks go. Potty a few times per night. I am not getting a whole lot of sleep. She seems to be doing pretty well with everything though.

Even though my plate is so full right now bcuz we have sooo much going on with other things~

I am so happy!

I am really looking forward to the Michigan meet-ups and getting to know you all and you getting to know us!

If I had known I was going to bring a baby home, I would have stocked up on hairbows, clothes, carriers, etc...

instead we thought it best to get her right home.

Jodie managed to hurry and give Nina 2 pretty dresses to get her started off right, and we got a harness from Melissa.

She is sleeping on a sheepskin right next to the computer right now. She isn't the only one on clound 9 right now!

It was sooooo good to meet and revisit with everyone. Our weekend that we had planned for over a year was a success !!! For the first one I think it was awesome. Right now me and my other Yorkiefair staff members are resting, we haven't even thought about another one. My only wish is to make it bigger and better and not have it during Michigan road construction season !!!

Janie, It was great to see you again. You and all the crew did such a great job putting it all together. It showed how hArd everyone worked. Thank you.... I enjoyed myself so much from the Joe's dinner, from the visiting, to the shopping, to the cherries! I still can't believe how well behaved my 3 girls were. I didn't even feel like they were with me half the time. I think they also enjoyed looking all around. I felt sorry for the non-yorkie dogs that passed us tho, Chloe would say something mean to them!!:p W#ish I had taken out my camera duh, I forgot:(

Hi girls it was so nice to meet so many of you at the fair we had a really nice time i had no plans for the baby going home and i wouldnt normally take a 9 wk old baby to a fair or meet up but, I had no choice we shure wouldnt leave her home alone.
I think it was meant to be Diane has been through alot and like i told her she was never going to fill her void unless she got a new baby in her home not to replace but to love and fill her heart!
It sounds like she is adjusting very well and is going to be very spoiled and loved that makes me very happy.
