Wow! How long do you have to drive? I think we have 2 hours. So I still have all day tomorrow to get ready and we leave Sat. morning at 9am :)

I'm excited to see all the sweet yorkies and see all the cool stuff to buy!

i can't believe we leave tomorrow too!! anyone else nervous about how their pup is going to react to 100 other yorkies??? Layla LOVES big dogs but i'm not sure she has seen many dogs her size.. and she isn't crazy about barking.. she gets all shaky... such a wuss :rolleyes:

about 5 1/2 - 6 hours with rest stops, food stops and pee stops.. but it's sooo worth it

tell her to suck it up:p :D j/k if she gets nervous she can join Kayah in the stroller;)

I am so excited for all those attending the Fair! I had managed to have Friday off from work, but we are planning on a short RV trip...... too bad it is not to ANN ARBOR! I really regret not getting to meet all of you!... Maybe sometime we can have something a little more central so some of us "Southerners" can get in on the action! ( I guess I could start planning a fall Yorkie camping outing! :) )
I did go to PetSmart yesterday, and was really bummed because Shelby & Seymour are going to miss out on all the great stuff at the Yorkie Fair..... Sooooooooo, yep, you guessed it..... They each got 2 new outfits and a toy!! :D They had the cutest watermelon dress ( green and white striped) and a white watermelon t-shirt to match ( for Seymour). Shelby also got a 2 piece set with a bandeau top and skirt. Seymour got a "surfer" tank that is a neat aqua blue color. Shopping is the BEST medicine for me when I am feeling blue! :sad: (actually I am excited about going to the campground..... always new people to meet and there are always a few Yorkie "Mom's" there)

Wrigley is a shaker and nervous too! That's why we are repeating puppy kindergarten, we are trying to get her used to other dogs and people! It takes her awhile to warm up to people! So we are prepared with our stroller.
Crosley our 15 lb Yorkie Poo really loves people, I'm excited to see her reaction to all the small Yorkies! She's used to the 4lb ruling her and taking all her toys, she will probably think it's some kind of conspiracy! :eek:

We have 3 hours and are not leaving until Saturday morning. Tomorrow is packing and last min baths for the kids.

we are all packed and ready to go!!! now time to go to sleep and drive the dreaded 6 hour drive:thumbdown I hope Kayah does ok in the car.. I already packed her a nice breakfast.. got the water.. I just hope I don't forget HER:eek:

my only suggestion would be to type it into mapquest.com I know that Missy is coming from Indiana and it is a 3 hour drive for her.

I talked to Tophersmom a little while ago and they're all packed and on their way!!! We've agreed that it takes more to go away with a couple of dogs for 3 days than it ever took for our kids. See y'all tomorrow.

Me and Lily are back from the fair and we had a great time!We meet a few of the YT's that were there and it was neat to put faces with names.It was a lot of fun!

I had no idea this thread would get so involved. It's great to read through and see everyone's excitement. I hope you all had a great time AND I can't wait to hear all about it.

I can not believe the GREAT turnout!!!!! This was just a awesome idea! I'm already looking forward to next year!

It was such a pleasure meeting all of you! I have never seen so many yorkies in my life and I was in heaven!

aww i'm so sad biggie & i missed out. i was at a wedding this weekend. :(

It was wonderful to meet everyone. As I thought, I recognized the "kids" first. The meet-up at the hotel was grand. It was so great to see all of the "kids" get along so well. There was the occasional "ggrrrrr" and a few "nips", mostly alot of tail wagging. Long or short, those tails & noses were working overtime.

I drove to Ann Arbor while Hubby (Chuck) took a :dogzzz: nap. Chuck drove home (I tried to :asleep: nap). At Lansing he thought it would be quicker to get to Muskegon if he went North on US127. "Honey, this doesn't :confused: look right???" OK, back onto I96. At Grand Rapids he thought it would be quicker to get to Muskegon if he went North on East Beltline Rd. "Honey, :confused: this doesn't look right???" OK, back onto I96. We made it home ok & the neighbor's called and had supper ready for us :cheer: when we got home. What a weekend, I'm not used to this much fun:martini: :party: !!!

We took a couple of wrong turns Sunday morning! but no problem.We loved meeting everyone.and Bentley had the best time:) he had to give everyone tons of kisses! and he also loved meeting all the little "girls" giving them kisses too.Like everyone has said ,it was great finally meeting everyone in person that we know here. let's do it again! I know Bentley is ready:)
