I think I told you, but I work for my mom taking care of 2 elderly ladies in my moms home. So after the morning routine is all done, I have about 3 hours to sew, then I get them lunch and after lunch I lay them down for a nap and sew a little more. I'm just doing this for the fair, this is not my normal routine, like today we took them to the park for a picnic, so I only got one thing sewed today. The only thing bad about this job is either you have the money or you don't, cause if you don't have the rooms filled, then I don't have a job, but when the rooms are filled, I have a great job! I was telling my mom the other day how thankful I was for her and daddy, they have kept me out of the factory, and I was so grateful for them and what they do. Not to many people will open up there home and take in 2 elderly people 24/7. If they want to go somewhere, then they have to hire in someone to stay, and then you have to be sure that person is trust worthy. |

I also made my 3 girls grass skirts and they travel in a pink carriage... I made homemade computer parrots with their names on them and put my screen name on them too... Maybe everyone could make a sign on their carriage or to wear. we are leaving around noon on Friday, not sure how long it will take to get there. Were staying at the Super 8 on Jackson St. So if anyone wants to meet up, just let me know a time. I was just reading the replies about how we will know who each other are, I had said last night that Sadie had a grass skirt, but there will be a even better way to tell who she is. She will be the only baby with a bald little head!LOL!!!! I can laugh about it now that she's doing better. So look for us, we would love to meet everyone. I think we will be there on Sat. I'm still debating on bring two babies :) So far Brodie is going. Is anyone bringing more than 1 baby? I'm just worried about being able to enjoy myself with trying to handle two. I was going to bring Meiah, but decided against it. Then we thought about bringing Tia - our miracle Chi baby :) |
This question just hit me today! For everyone who will be selling items at the Fair, will you be taking credit cards or cash only?? I definitely want to be prepared!! :) Thanks! |
