ok i am really confused, i clicked on the link you left and did not get a breeder, and this number doesn't match the one she gave me, what is the connection? Does she used another # as well?

The connection seems to be that Carol is re-married or now uses the last name DeRosia. When she was arrested (See http://lists.envirolink.org/pipermai...05/023371.html) she was Carol Howell. I've found her listed as Carol DeRosia or Carol and Jeffrey DeRosia in other breeder listings. I have a PO Box address for her. I've contacted Ruth to the Rescue and gave the link to this message board, hopefully someone can do something!

Hey Pattie, just thought I should let you know that someone from Ruth to the Rescue (are you familiar with this show?) called me for more information on this breeder. Maybe you can tell him about your experience too if they decide to do something on her... can you email me your email address or phone number? jlaandam@hotmail.com. Also was it ever determined whether Pen had the same breeder?

My wife and I also purchased a Bichon puppy from this breeder, Carol DeRosia. We too met her in a public place to pickup our Zoey. We got Zoey in October and she is now a little over 5 months old.

We took her to the vet a few days after we got her and found out she had an umbilical hernia. We asked Carol about it and she told us she forgot to mention it and said the puppy would be fine with it. The vet said it should be repaired.

A few weeks after we got our little Zoey she began to itch. We asked Carol about it and she recommended changing her food which we did, but she still itches. She said she would work with us to figure it out, but after the first few email exchanges we have not heard back. We have been working with our vet to find out what she is allergic to.

When we got Zoey, we signed a contract agreeing to spay her and it entitled us to her registration papers after we showed proof of spaying. We had her spayed and her hernia fixed. We sent the proof to Carol and it has been a few weeks since and have not heard anything back. We emailed and called a few times with no response.

Don't hold your breath on the papers, I never got mine either. I will be shocked if you get any, I presumed she was full of it and never has them available to anyone! IF you talk to her, you should copy all our names and say "__ & __ & ___ said hi" Maybe it will make her feel a little uneasy! Good Luck

PS We could all get together one night and knock on her door!

My wife and I were thinking about filing a small claims suit against her since she has breached the contract we signed to get the papers. I am trying to find out her address so if we do file, the court can serve the papers to her.

I found a posting on a website from her, but it said it was inactive and that she was banned.

P.S. Maybe we can let the rest of the dogs loose when we knock on her door.

Ok so IF you file a small claims suite against her, I for one will appear on your behalf as a witness to her business dealings. you WILL win. As far as your PS, yes let's do, they will be ever so grateful I am sure. She is the biggest BS-er I have ever met and it is time someone put her in her place. I am sure I am not the only one who will show up as a witness. Wouldn't you just love the look on her face if we all were there. Better yet, if all of us filed suit against her. There is a women here who does have her address. I think she purposely met everyone on the outside so she would never show where she lived to tell you the truth.

Can you provide me with Carol's address?

My wife and I have had the same problems with her and we are thinking of filing a small claims suit against her to try to get the purchase price back and some of the medical expenses we have paid for thus far.

Zoey87, Go look at this thread on page #1 POST #12, there is an address there, altho I don't know if it is accurate. Let me know before you file a suite, I think I want to file one too for the medical bills I incurred as well. Group suites do a lot better i think.
