Interested in a Meet-Up in SE, Michigan?

Hey everybody Jodi has been telling tails. She met me in December o6 at a Yorkietalk meetup. I am a YT member don't I count Jodi ????I could not tell you where it was though LOL. I went to visit another Yorkie Mom for the weekend in Deaborn Heights, Michigan and we went to a great Yorkie meet up not to far away from my friends house. There were about 20 Yorkies there and we even got newspaper coverage and pictures of our Yorkie Parade.

Jodi don't me Abby and Carson count. ????

I am on the committee for the Yorkiefair in May 2007 that Jodi was refering too so I will be up in Michigan then. in the Summer i have a friend that lives north of Detriot and there are 2 events near her house, One of them is called Petpaloza and the other one is Bark in the Park. I think they are in july and August. so if any one wants a house guest let me know,

I am always ready for a road trip. Abby and Carson are great travelers. Jodi I don't know if I told you this but last December I left my friends house to go back to Cincinnati around 6 pm. About and hr into the drive my car just stopped running, the transmission went out. Me , Abby and Carson were stranded on i-75 South it was dark to i could not get a cell phone coverage so I had to call 911. Me, Abby and Carson had to be towed 149 miles back to Cincinnati and the Highway Patrol left me there alone on the side of the rode for an hr. My Husband was so pissed !! I did have AAA so the cop did call a tow truck before he abdoned me thank goodness. The tow truck guy was really nice fortunatly. As I was getting ready to climb into his tow truck which was not real easy to do because it was high. I had both dogs in my arms he asked me if i wanted him to hold them why i climbed up into the truck but with the cars wizzing by so fast etc etc and the dogs were nervous already I was afraid that one of them would squirm out of his arms and fall and then go into the expressway, so I just held them real tight , so I would not let the driver hold them. I said a prayer and the guy helped us into the truck. We got home about 1 am safe and sound.

We will surely include you with all our messages. Petapalooza and Bark in the Park are supposed to be really fun. I wasn't able to make either one last year, but I hope to this year. We have a spare room - so you are always welcome in Trenton.

You didn't tell us about your adventure on the way home. How scary. I'm glad your tow truck driver was dog friendly!! Hopefully there will be no more travel woes!!!!

I want to go to the 2 meet-ups in July & August too.. make sure you let me know the details as well. Aside from Jodie's house invitation, you have one here as well so make double the amount of trips , no breaking down no more tho

I believe Sterling Heights is where the Bark in the Park and Pet Pazzola take place. Is there a big huge park there? That town name sounds familar also a friend of mine has a pet grooming shop near it. She is on a very busy road right off the expressway. I have been to her shop and the parks a few times. Great location

There is Dodge Park. Its a huge park and they always have something going on there.
