| People of Illinois - Mainly Southern illinois!! Okay, I have been searchi ng the internet for grooming schools in illinois and the only one i keep finding are 2 hours away, one direction. That is abit far for me. I know that not all grooming schools are listed and wanted to know if anyone might know of any that i have not found. I know that i could just ask an other groomer to train me but i would rather have the schooling. I have spoken with a few area groomers and they had lots of great information to offer but none had gone to school so they could not recommend a school. Your help is greatly appreciated! |

| I looked for a school also when I got Macy. The only one I found was around St. Louis. Then, I found a groomer here in Decatur that grooms and teaches also but she is expensive. I think she said she charges a couple of thousand dollars and her school covers starting your own business along with grooming. So, I gave up and just bought a DVD on how to groom your Yorkie. Every couple of months I take her to a groomer but in between I clip her myself. Sorry, I'm no help.
