| ![]() Steph To answer your question when i get my certification in Healing Touch for Animals I can go into my own practice (like a Dr) Look at the HTA home page and look on the left side of the page and there is a store to buy equipment, business cards etc to set up your own practice. Also my vet said he would help me out with referrals. I am taking the course with a Nurse Practicioner I work with. Her and her Husband are on the Board of Directors at a big dog rescue near Cincinnati. There will be alot of opportunity for me to be succesful. Plus i can work with rescue dogs (ie that have issues) In order to be Certified I have to take the horse classes too but after that i will be certified. What part of Ohio do you live in ? You can ttake these certification courses all over the US as long as they are done in order. Check out the Web site again you can do this too. My classes start in 2 weeks I can't wait. Who knows you might see me on Animal Planet one day !!!! Janie |

| ![]() Rachel yes i would still like to have a Yorkie Meet up at my house in Cincinnati but so many Ohio Yorkie Moms live so far away and probably would not make the drive for an afternoon. Ohio Yorkie Moms how does everyone feel about a meet up somewhere in Ohio in April and what city would be best ? I need some suggestions. Janie |

| ![]() Jeez Janie looks like we may have to offer gas & milage to get anyone to participate, lol. If you ever decide when & where let me know. Maybe 2 wks before we could put up some flyers at pet stores, groomers, vets, etc "Yorkie Party" Invitation, but it wouldnt probably be a good idea to have strangers to your home, with all the yorkie nappings as it is. But then maybe it would get a guest book together w/names address, phone#'s & emails & make future party planning easier. I think there is a petsmart at eastgate area, It would be fun if they ever just had some kind of event to meet there w/ our yorkies & participate maybe make some new friends. I plan to have something at my house but make it a toybreed party I know people have other breeds on here, I love the little ones & big ones too but to prevent any fights that could lead to fatality, I think the size, not breed matters. ![]() |

| ![]() I live just below Akron and I know there are a few members who live in the Akron/Massillon/Canton area. Cincinnati is a bit to far for me at this time. May I suggest you hold off the meetup until summer or until the weather is warmer?? This way the furbabies will get to enjoy the nice weather and being outside. And more people have time off in summer. Just a thought. Right now the weather here is just horrible, always cold and raining.
