| Bloomington-Normal (Illinois) Recommendations?? Elphaba and I arrive at our new home in Normal, IL in just over a month. Looking for recommendations on grooming, daycare, boarding, vets, etc. I did get to check out the K9 Country Club on Lumberton while I was househunting...they looked okay for daycare which was reasonable, but didn't like the kennels at all. Anyone use them? |

| Hi! I'm sorry I can't answer your questions, but your baby's name just caught my attention! Is she named after the witch in Wicked? It's a pretty unique name so I thought I'd ask I hope someone answers your questions! Moves can be tough in those aspects. I finally found a great groomer after moving a year and a half ago!

| Hi there! We used to live in Normal...it's a nice town. We used Prairie Oak Vet center over off of Veteran's Parkway on Landmark Drive. Dr. Matt Fraker and Jeanette Romanowski...Dr. Fraker also takes care of the animals at the zoo. The staff at Prairie Oaks are wonderful...they love all the animals that come in and they make you feel welcome from the first minute. We never used doggie day care or boarding so I can't help there...I'll look in the phone book and get the name of the groomer we used. I can certainly tell you which ones not to go to! The one we used has girls that are very experienced with Yorkies, Candy had one for years and the owner has one...they're very good. Star groomed our Boog dog and she did a great job but that's been a few years ago so I don't know if she's still there. I think it was called Canine Design on Bunn St...you might look them up and call to see who works there...if they say Candy and Star you have the right place. |
