Hey guys....just an update. Only 1 month and 1 day away...looks like we have several people coming. We don't have anyone official registered. I need to have this in by Sept 15th if possible. I've already paid $90.00 for the shelter out of my pocket and we still have the meet to provide. Please send these in as soon as you can.

I'm getting excited to meet everyone and make sure and invite other people in your area also. If possible make up a flyer and post at your local vets and pet stores. This helps to promote the meetup and get more people there.

If you know any yorkie breeders in your area, also inform them.

wow, what a hard decision....I'd say we'll have cuter guest at ours....lol I mean are they going to lick your face at your class reunion???? I think not. lol

I'm also trying to get a Lady to come who is here in Muncie who's yorkie is a therapy dog. She also has a reading program at one of the schools where the kids read to her yorkie. The progress the kids have made are huge. Its amazing how our little babies can help out. I thought it was a neat program and thought its a good way to give back. She also goes to nursing homes and hospitals too. I have to see if she has that weekend free to come talk to the group for about 15 minutes or so plus join it.

I had an idea today...I went to breeder.net and pulled up every Indiana Breeder on there. I sent a flyer and email to all of them. So far in just a short time two of them are pretty sure they are coming. I told them to give out to people they know too. Hopefully our numbers will keep growing.

One of them had an awesome idea. Bring your pedigrees if you have them and compair to see if any of the yorkies are actually related somewhere down the line. That would be really fun to do. What a great idea.

I'm so excited. I got word today that Carol will be coming to talk about therapy dogs and the reading program she started at her school with her yorkie Lily.
