Sounds like a good deal to me!! I just suggested on my thread that we have ours on September 20th. I will not have mine on the same day as yours so that way people can come to both!! Hopefully my husband will say yes to us coming!!

Ok just got off the phone with eagle creek. They only had Oct 4th available. They are going to be having hay rides, and all kinds of stuff after 5:30 that day. I got 8M shelter in the mt. pleasant one. it has a playground and restroom right there. The first time I got it I got 8S and there was really tooo much shade. This one (for those who remember is the one that had the volleyball net set up, that we all liked better) same area. I say start it at 1:00 that way it will give people time to get there and eat lunch there. We will do meet and greet first then lunch. then the rest of the activities. If anymore wants to set up any little vendor tables, feel free to do so, Our meetups arent real fancy, just a nice get together with plenty of talking, enjoying the babies, and good food. Don't forget the costume show!!! If anyone wants to donate anything for a door prises feel free too. Feel free to make a brochure and put up at vets and different places around your town. Pass the word around. It doesnt just have to be yt memebers. The first meetup we got several from outside of yt. HOpefully they will be there again. If you know any breeders in the area, make up brochures to give to them to pass along to yorkie people they know. If you know anyone who wants to donate items for a raffle, $1.00 each. Let me know. Any money left over can either go towards next year or to a yorkie rescue.

If anyone has any ideas, feel free to share.

Sounds like a great time Denise. I'll have to wait until it gets closer to see who will be coming with me (fur and skin...lol), but YES....if I'm able to attend I will bring the Corn Flake Cookies. I haven't had them for awhile..yummy!!

At least if we keep the men busy with grilling like last time they won't be so bored...lol. Hubby did enjoy it last time more than he thought he would.

Something we didnt do last time is have a yorkie parade. I know in one of the other meetups they did this. Will be cute with there costumes on. hahaha
