Hey guys!! Miss all of you! My cousin in Cincinnati just yesterday recieved a yorkie who is 9 years old and now feels she cant keep it. She called the owner back and the lady said she would have to put it to sleep if she took it back. The family had it for those years, but had a baby and couldnt keep it. I'm unsure of the sex, but it is very nervous/frightened. If you or you know someone who could take it, please get in contact with me and I can get more info to you. Thank you so much. Lisa

More info on this sweet little girl....Her name is Mandy and she is 9 years old. She is spade. Bless her heart, she was removed from her brother and one of her sons. When my cousin called back, she said she thinks Mandy misses her family, and the other lady said that the other two are over it already:eek:! So heartbreaking.....My cousin said she is such a sweetie. A pic is included here....oh yes, she weighs about 9 plus pounds.....

Good news....my cousin is going to be able to keep her!!!!

Yep, I am here in Louisville, KY.

Does anyone know who makes the best belly bands?? I can't remember who I bought the last one's from. They have elastic in them, I noticed most of the people on here don't use elastic and I like it. So if you have any suggestions let me know!! :)

I got mine here in Louisville at "Feeder's Supply" which is a locally owned pet store. Mine velcro's. I only used it in agility training when we were training at an indoor facility.

I keep getting emails on the events, so I guess they have me as joined.
How was the Valentine meeting?

The Valentine Meet-Up was fun. It is great to talk to other Yorkie owners. And the Meet-Up is only 90 minutes, so it goes soooo quickly. (Plus it takes us 45 minutes to drive each way.) Hope you check out the pictures on the website soon.

We hope to attend in March also, and maybe see you there?

Where was the Valentine's meetup? I was unaware about it.

Hi all, I just lost my Buster Brown and am lost without him. He was only 6 but developed pancreatitis at age 4yrs. He was so awesome. We live in Southern Indiana but would travel to get the right pup. Liz

As far as finding another puppy someday.... Please check out the Yorkshire Terrier Club of America, which has a list of reputable breeders.

my wife and i got scammed by a lady who said she would give us a puppy once she recieved 1200.00 well we sent it and no puppy.. so we are back to square one a little wiser and a little more cautious.....but still looking we have 2 just looking for another baby

So sorry that you were taken advantage of, why not post the name of the scammer here, to help alert anyone else from falling prey to this person

I have also been taken more than once, first time shame on them 2nd time
shame on me because i have been here way to long to have let it happen

I hope you will be very careful before buying again goodluck in your search

Unless your going to be showing your dog, there is no sense to pay an outrageous amount of money on a dog. Just my opinion.

Please feel free to dress your Yorkie up to celebrate and we will be picking a winner for best costume. The lucky Yorkie will receive a toy! We also welcome owners to bring snacks/drinks to share as this should be a fun party! If anyone has anymore ideas, feel free to let me know!

This play date will be held at Best Friends Pet Care Center. Please RSVP (even if no) and also indicate if you can bring food and drinks to share. Hopefully this play date will allow us to go outside if the weather is right. Remember it might be a little muddy, so dress appropriately!
