WinstonW - Good luck with Winston's baby teeth coming out on Friday. Does he have just a few, or more than that, do you think? Also, it would be soooo much fun to be able to go to the car show and meet our Indiana friends. :coolsmile We'll have to check our calendar. Shelby and Seymour - Thanks for the compliment about the pictures. We used to watch the big Labor Day fireworks from the Covington side, also. But now we go out of town and miss them every year. We also love the Newport Levy for the restaurants, aquarium, and a few of the festivals they have on the riverbank in the summer. MyPeanutAbbyGra - Do you enjoy flying also? That was sweet you had your furbabies at the airport being spoiled rotten. Your social calendar and home improvement projects must be keeping you extra busy. I loved the pictures of Daisy and Abby, especially the leash picture!:lol tears Tatertot - Piccolo and I are very excited about your adventure to get Bandit this weekend. Can't wait to see pictures!:2photo: Lisa and Piccolo |

Yeah May always seems to be a busy month for us for some reason. I guess all the birthday and graduations. We just decided to plop the home improvements on top of it. *bonk* Abby was actually pulling on Daisy's leash. She does that everytime I put Daisy's leash on her. She's such a big toughie. hahaha. I'm looking forward to having new windows!! YEAH! Our house is 58 years old and these are the original windows. I so want the tilt in kind, so they are easier to clean. Even better, I'd like a maid. ;) I can't wait to come up and go for walks. Abby will be 16 weeks old next Friday and will have all her shots! We will be able to go wherever we want to go then. Of course, sometimes I end up pulling or carrying Abby as much or more than she walks. |

Lisa, like I told Lisa K, Tony flies radio controlled planes. He did take flying lessons, but much prefers the smaller ones. We all (the kids and I) enjoying going to the field to watch him and we've made some good friends there. Lisa K, you've probably seen the field, it's right off of I-164. Lisa, it would be so much fun if you and your husband were able to make to the Frog Follies. :car: Bah, what a rainy day. I hope tomorrow is wall to wall sunshine :D Here are some more pictures of Abby. 1. Sleepy Baby 2. Still sleeping 3. Mama woke her up. 4.Look at her eyes glowing green. Oh good news! We found Ron a dog :) Buddy is part terrier and part dachsund. He's 6 years old and weighs about 16 pounds. He's a real cutie. I think my son and I are going tomorrow to pick him up. We're just waiting to hear from Ron about how his medical test came out. I'll be so happy for both Ron and Buddy if it works out. |
Tammy - What precious pictures of your sleeping beauty!* :dogzzz: |
Lisa and Tammy ....Yes Winston has to get at least 2 baby teeth out Friday Morning. Some of the permanent ones did come in great and pushed the baby ones out....but some not. To help his bite and to keep from getting gum disease...food stuck in those double row spaces she thought it best to have them out. His bite looks good though. You should see my shih tzus teeth:biggrin8:.....a sole tooth here and there that stick out over the lips!!! Cracks me up. Everybody always laughs and tells me Jeff should have done braces on them!!!:D Tammy those pictures of Abby are just the cutest!! I love her little dress! I can tell she is growing. Can you see differences too?...It's always kinda hard to tell when you are with them all the time. Tatertot----:happybounYeah Yeah It's almost here!!! Time for Bandit!!! |
Thank You! Yes I can tell she's growing. She had a growing spurt a week or so ago and really shot up or out or whatever it is that little short legged puppies do :) I weighed her yesterday and she's almost to 2.5 lbs. Lisa, when did Winston start losing his baby teeth? I'll have to keep an eye on Abby. |
I have never seen any of the baby teeth actually come out....From being here on yt I have noticed a lot of the yorkies needing this so I looked in Winston's mouth about a month ago and I saw some of the primarys still in where the permanent ones were also in....kinda like double rowed. I talked to Tracy (vet) at East Pines and she said yorkies do run into this a lot. |
I live in Jackson County, Kentucky. It is in the Southeastern part of the taste east of I75. I have had my furbutt for 4 weeks now and love her to death. I actually think I loved her just by looking at her pic on the internet. |
Lisa K. - Again, good luck with Winston's baby teeth surgery tomorrow. Piccolo had to have that done and all turned out well and I know it will for him, too. We will be thinking about you both. tr farmer - Welcome to this thread and to Yorkie Talk! Piccolo and I live in Northern Kentucky. One question...I'm thinking Jackson County might be near Irmo, Ky. Is that correct or am I way off? |
Prayers Please!! 1 Attachment(s) Hey everyone....last night me and my hubby got a call from his mom saying that they had to rush his little brother to the hospital because the docs found spots on his lungs that were beginning stages of them collapsing....we are waiting for more results on tests and x-rays to find out if they are going to put a chest tube in him or not. He is only 16 (almost 17) He was born a preemie at 1.4 ounces he has had roughly 40 some surgeries his whole life....not even a year ago he had pancreatitis and they removed his pancreas and put the eyelets into his liver, he is now diabetic because of this but after the surgery both of his lungs collapsed and he died for a moment but they were able to save him. He has spent alot of his life in the hospital but he is the strongest little boy I ever met. I'm attaching a picture of him....this was from a couple years ago...he looks the same just taller. I am asking for prayers, he needs all he can get. |
Tatortot...We will keep your brother in law in our thoughts and prayers. Goodness, he has had a lot to deal with in his young life. tr_farmer-Welcome to YT! Sounds like your new little Yorkie won you over too!! Winston is my first one too--7 months old.....he is now lounging on my bed on the heating pad as we "speak"! Look forward to hearing more about your little girl. Lisa-Thanks again for the thoughts!! |
I have no idea where Irmo is, but we are about 30 minutes from London and a little more than an hour away from Lexington. Anyone know how I can minimize my pictures so I can post them on here? |

It depends on the picture program you have, as to how you can resize the pictures. You can host them on another site and resize them, like at Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket It's a free site and it's very useful. |
