Oh my! What a small world!! My mom lives in Greenville and she has 2 yorkies (both rescues) and a silky terrier.

Good company...oh yum-o We haven't tried 1910 sausage company yet, but it's on my list of places to go. Next time you are in the area, you should try Pullman's (it's owned by the same family that owns Good Co.) they have really good food and it's right on the river...very pretty!!

I do hope we can meet, Ellie loves other dogs.

We would love to come to a meeting!!!!! Most of them are too far for us to travel to, so Wisconsin would de do-able. We're from Northern Minnesota and always up for a road trip

Anyone with a 2009 Get together? We just got our little guy and havent seen to many "Real" Yorkies around.. I live in Neenah that is a part of Appleton Wisconsin

I live about 2 hours away from you..I agree with you. I haven't seen any real yorkies around either..

Well, come visit Madison then! There are tons of Yorkies here. I know of 6 just in my apartment complex. I've seen 4 across the street in the other complex. And every now and then I see someone on the street walking one as I drive around town.

I've seen them at Mounds an Petsmart too. Yorkies, yorkies, yorkies!!!

Then of course there are all the little hybrid babies like my Tink who is a Yorkiepoo and the only one I've ever seen in a dress!

Hi I am with Save A Yorkie Rescue, Inc. in Reading, PA

But I was contacted by a woman who is just plain helpless and she was given a female Yorkie she cannot keep. She cannot find any Yorkie Rescues in the Wisconsin area with a phone number. She has no computer so she cannot write an email. Her name is Catrina Trotter, she is 45 minutes from Milwaukee, she does not drive. The dog is a 2 year old, 4 lb female.

IS there anyone in Wisconsin who could call her and pick up the dog?

Her number is: 608-432-3828. Please cross post widely. She can't handle the dog or keep it.

OMG! I really wished I would have seen this post much sooner. Does anybody know what happen to the yorkie?

I don't know if this dog still needs somebody to come get her and foster her but I would be willing to go get her and help find her a home.I will call the numbers tomorrow and findout a little more and see if I can help

Yes same her. I will be able to foster her also. I live in Wisconsin and will be able to pick her up as soon as this week.

I called both numbers and didn't get an answer but will try again I just hope the dog is okay and didn't have to go to a shelter
