| I get so mad... Here in South Africa we have so little accessories for our pets. Oh we have the normal toys, leashes, a few cute beds and some clothes but nothing like you guys have! I travel to Pretoria (an hour away) to take my two for the occasional grooming and they (Le York Spa & Boutique) have a few cool things but seem to cater for the teacup kids The reason I travel so far is no one in my area knows how to cut a Yorkie properly!! I had Coffee cut really short recently and wanted to make him look smart, so looked for some kind of cravat or something - NO LUCK, so I've cut up some of hubby's old ties and made my own. I would really like a stroller for my two as we take them out so often, the owner of Le York is importing some but they will cost about R800.00 I get sooo jealous looking at all the wonderful things you have for your furkids, although I love my country, it's times like these that I wish I lived there. Sorry this is so long, but I am feeling so frustrated, just needed to vent.

| I am sorry your having so much trouble getting doggie stuff. We are spoiled because we have so much here and we often forget that. Can you order online?

| You have a kindred spirit here in southern Mexico. I have to go 1 hour down the mountain to even find treats or toys for my two. Clothing is another story. It comes from Mexico City and safe shipping often costs almost as much as the clothes. I make their dog biscuits, do my own grooming as it is, and am looking for a seamstress to make them some winter clothes. That could work for you, too. |

| I'd try ordering on line. You might have a better chance of getting what you like.

| Yes , I am considering that... have been checking the sites posted on another thread about strollers. I really want one for my kids. They seem to cost about $100, thats about R700.00, hmmmm quite expensive in our money, and then there's still the shipping, might just have to get one from hubby as MY Christmas present. Will be working on a plan/other options. I am going to phone Le York tomorrow to see if she has got hers in, it may work out cheaper in the long run - no postage or shipping costs. Where are your strollers made? She is importing hers from China I try to avoid anything made there. Thanks for your suggestions.

| If you can sew, there are a lot of things you could make yourself. I had the same problem here, not being able to get all the cute stuff, so i ordered online, and had a blast LOL Now it's becoming a trend here, to dress your pooch, and ride them around in strollers, i found the most gorgeous boutique in town 2 days ago, and most pet stores are selling clothes, strollers etc... If i can help you in any way, let me know. I dont have any family or friends going to SA anytime soon, i would have sent you stuff, but i will keep you in mind. |
