| So sorry that you had a bad experience... I thought it sounded like a cute event, but because I havent finished Meka's costume we didnt go... And thankgoodness we didnt, because on the news this morning (think it was my area) - someone had brought their horse in dressed as a poodle! When I saw that and the huge crowd in the background... I was ever so thankful we didnt participate.... At least you know what not to do next year.

| I feel bath for both of you--Basil sounds like a combination of Pia, Steddie & Tatum. He's scared of everyone except me, my DH and my mom AND he barks all over Petsmart. My GF is marching with her little girl tonight in our Halloween parade and they wanted me to walk with Basil in his chicken outfit from Target. I was on the edge of saying yes, but then I thought, "No way would that be anything but a total disaster! " We're gonna cuddle & watch TV instead! |

| Mine didn't seem well organized at all and we were there a long time...but ELphaba had a ball and loved seeing and playing with all the dogs and people. But from now on I'll plan on being there EARLY because we waited forever. Luckily a friend came to join me and helped pass the time better while we were in line! |

| At my petsmart they switched to digital....and my pic is pretty good...problem was...they were having all kinds of printer issues which was slowing everything down. But I actually thought the quality of the pic (and the little frame) was WAY improved over the last time I did a special event like this several years back. |

| I'm sorry some of the PetSmart's weren't that great -- that had to be not so fun . I was planning on taking the babies, but with 4, I knew even with DH and myself it would be way too difficult. They are not properly trained on leash to stay and sit, so they would be pulling like crazy to go play with the other dogs and Mckenzie is still very fearful of other dogs -- so I didn't want to stress myself or them by taking them there (even though I wanted to go). I may take just one or two to a Halloween party and give the others lots of love and treats when I get home from it. I feel so guilty not taking all of them, but I have to rotate or none of them would ever go anywhere . |

| My experience was pretty bad too. There were about 100 dogs there and it got really hot. Madeleine wouldn't come off my shoulder. We waited almost an hour for them to print out the picture (they took them with a digital and then printed them out on a little printer that was soooo slow) and then it was blurry!!! They said they would re-take it but I wasn't about to sit there for another hour. I didn't even attempt to participate in the costume contest. I won't be going next year

| The one at our petsmart was not that all organized either. We were glad to get out of there. The prizes were ribbons and we stayed for that. We did not win anything, but you would have thought they would have given gift certificates or something. People were all crowded in the training area. Little kids coming up wanting to pet them....germs germs germs. I was ready to take them and run. We were only there about an hour and that was enough for us. Probably will not go back next year.

| Wow! I guess I lucked out at my Petsmart. I arrived at 6:30. There was no one waiting for pictures. The guy was very nice and took about 4 pictures of Murphy. He let me choose the best picture. We then waited around until 7:00 for the contest. Murphy was dressed in a fisherman's outfit from Target. (On clearance for $5.00 There were only about 20 pets there. Five employees walked around looking at all the costumes and they chose the winners. Murphy won 3rd place! He won a ribbon and a $5.00 gift card. The only downside was in the picture you can't really see his costume, but I was grateful he sat still for the pictures. The frame is really nice, though.
